In these unstable economic times,
I am thankful for my jobs (teaching and tutoring)
a roof over my head
and the ability to pay my mortgage
and my bills
sometimes just barely but they get paid.
I am thankful for my family
who wrap me up in their love and support
who are there when I need them
I am thankful
to carry with me the love
of wonderful man who was
taken from this world much to soon
I am thankful for my children
who, while keeping me on my toes,
make me smile and proud
each and every day.
I am thankful
to live in a country
where there are abundant choices
in everyday to where you want to live,
work and pray.
For small pleasures
like a hot mug of tea on a cold day
a long hot shower
soft sheets and blankets
a good book
For all these and more... I am thankfu
Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours

The excitement in this household this past week was the election of Barack Obama. Yes, we are Obama supporters. I can't tell you how proud I was to be an American that night. To know that the majority is ready for change. It won't be easy, and it won't be a quick changing or a quick fix but I do believe the best candidate of the two won the election. There is a wonderful site called 52 to 48/48 to 52... the sentiments expressed are ones we need to embrace as a unifed country red/blue= fully American!
