When October Goes

I'm always sad to see October end and take with it the beautiful colors of the season.  This weekend I spent pretty much on my own. Because it was the holiday weekend, many of my friends had outings with their families. My own children had social engagements.
So I grabbed my camera and went out on my own "October End" walk through the center of town.
I'm thankful to have had the time to do this... enjoy the photos :) below and the video above.

Happy Fall

Fall, like for so many, is my favorite season. I love the cooler temperatures, wearing sweaters and the way the leaves fall lazily from the trees.  Yesterday I brought along my camera as I ventured through the back roads on my way to work. My intention was to stop and grab some photos at a beautiful pond that is inhabited by a handful of swans. Unfortunately, all I managed to do was take in the sights visually as my camera battery was dead.  I'll again this morning.  
So for now, I'll post a photo I took up back one morning last week... enjoy  the colors of Fall :)
