A favorite visit

This Labor Day weekend we took our annual trip down to The Cape to spend with friends. We had a wonderful time sitting on the beach, walking in the drizzle to buy sweatshirts, hanging out playing games and just being together. Its a weekend we look forward to every year.

We eat, play and relax on the beaches of Brewster.

The water was cold but that didn't stop M!
M and J always have a great time together.

While the beach was relaxing, it was not the only activity for the weekend. We spent time enjoying the house they'd rented and sharing a meal. After dinner Elise put her assembly line into motion. She pulled out a vast amount of 'pieces' that would eventually be the invitations.
The younger of her son's is making his Bar Mitzvah this Fall. I'm always amazed at the work involved to prepare for this special event.

Rob punches holes.....
Leah folds....they are working for their food! haha!

Elise assembles and attaches it all together. Yes...she lost her hammer but a rock did the job!
And viola! The finished product!!

Oh...and I snapped photos :)

The Bar Mitzvah will be wonderful and a lot of fun. We are all looking forward to it!

The beach sounds wonderful! What we let pass for "beaches" here in utah is shameful in comparison :-). The invitations look very nice. Also love the puppy pics below. *g*
