While the sun was out a little this week, I got busy getting bird feeders filled. Once the bait was set, I grabbed my camera and waited. 

The branch sat empty for awhile and when I bird chanced to have a snack, it quickly left when it detected any motion from me. 

Finally a brave female bird checked out the area.  I do believe she was assessing my threat to her well being here.  And decided I was no threat at all.

She spent a lot of time nibbling on the peanut butter brick.

She sure was one brave..or very hugry bird. I would think the hungrier they are the less they care who is standing nearby.  I finally moved the wrong way and she took off ending my photo journaling of her meal.
